USING YOUR PREPARATION
TO MAKE CHOICES
THROUGHOUT YOUR JOURNEY
By LaKeisha N. McClendon

It is important to understand the relationship between “the preparation” and “the journey” as you walk in God’s will for your life; then link your preparation, your choices and your journey.   Your preparation is your resource when making each and every choice throughout your journey; the key is to use your continued preparation to make the “right” choice.  Knowing the “right” choice; the right choice is using ALL the information that you have at that time.  There is a saying “When you know better you do better”; the key is during your journey take what you know and use it; when you find out what you don’t know use that too.   Connect the power of your preparation to the power of choices, put that with the power of GOD and you will have the best journey for YOUR LIFE!!

God has given you the POWER to be the facilitator of change, the navigational system, and the road map through the CHOICES YOU make along your journey.  Look forward to your journey because it is God’s future for you. During your preparation God is modifying your spirit, bracing you for a breakthrough, cultivating your mind, grooming your ego, training your thoughts, developing, ending and starting new relationships, disciplining you to pray, and conditioning your surroundings.

It could be a difficult period or a time when you are having so much fun that you don’t see a storm coming. When the storm arrives it may seem like the most difficult time in your life, but that is when God is preparing you to move.  God is preparing you to become the WOMAN he pre-ordained you to be.

Remember, with every new experience God gives you, just say, “This is my preparation; I trust in my preparation because I trust GOD.”

When God prepares you he gives you “equipment” — the tangible and intangible things to glorify God and build up the Body of Christ:  your testimony “equipment”, your gifts “equipment”, your praise “equipment”, and your ministries “equipment”.

SILLY WOMEN ~ Our charge is to use our preparation and equipment to MAKE CHOICES WHICH WILL CREATE THE LIFE THAT GOD WANTS FOR US WHILE building up the Body of Christ.

So when does our journey begin?  It Starts NOW.  We have already begun our journey … IT IS A CHOICE.  How we look at every situation … A CHOICE!  How we respond to every situation … A CHOICE!

Preparation will last throughout our journey.  As God begins to take us higher, our continued Preparation will be introduced to God’s will for your life.  We will be PREPARED for our JOURNEY because your Preparation starts when?  NOW!

For eyes have not seen, neither have ears heard what great things are in store for the SILLY WOMEN of America!
